For three decades, Complexions has been at the forefront of pushing the boundaries of dance, breaking down barriers, and celebrating diversity in the arts. Founded by visionary Artistic Directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Complexions has become a beacon of innovation, known for its powerful performances that blend ballet with contemporary movement, creating a unique and compelling artistic experience.

The mission of the Complexions Foundation is to advance diversity, innovation, and excellence in dance while advancing the legacy  of our founders.  We are committed to nurturing future talent, commissioning groundbreaking new works, and expanding the reach of dance to diverse audiences. Through our Performing Company and Complexions Academy we to inspire, educate, and transform lives of our artists, students and the community at large.
